🎫 With Package – Free Airport Transfers

All participants and companions who booked an official accommodation package through Ticino 2025 benefit from a free roundtrip train transfer between Malpensa Airport (MXP) and any destination in Ticino.

✅ Included route: S50 train service (TILO)
✅ Departure points:

  • Malpensa Terminal 2 – from 06:13 until 23:13

  • Malpensa Terminal 1 – from 06:19 until 23:19

🚆 How It Works

You can board any S50 train operated by TILO during the valid period. The train runs hourly from 06:13 (T2) until 23:13, between Malpensa Airport and Ticino, with stops at the following key locations in Ticino:

  • Mendrisio

  • Capolago-Riva San Vitale

  • Lugano-Paradiso

  • Lugano

  • Giubiasco

  • Bellinzona

  • Castione-Arbedo

Just board the S50 and enjoy the journey — no extra ticket is required if you are part of the Package program.

📍 For Guests Staying in Locarno

To reach Locarno, you must:

  1. Take the above train S50 to Lugano

  2. At Lugano, change trains and board the RE80 towards Locarno. It will be on the same platform

    • Trains to Locarno run approximately every 30 minutes

    • Journey time from Lugano to Locarno is 33 minutes

    • Relevant stops include S. Antonino, Riazzino, Gordola, Teneroand Minusio.

Your free transfer remains valid for the full journey, including the change in Lugano.

🔁 Return Travel

Your return trip from Ticino to Malpensa Airport is included under the same conditions. Remember to allow enough time to reach the airport before your flight.
